Support Education. Shape Futures.

Your Support Can Shape Someone’s Future

A Little Giving. A Lifetime Impact.

When you donate to Shiksha Sankalp Society, you are supporting Lakshya Scholarship – a strictly merit-cum-need based support system designed for exceptionally high-achieving college students who come from severely financially constrained families in India.

Talent is distributed evenly across India,  opportunity is not. We identify academically gifted, low-income students who have already earned their seats in India’s most competitive national programs (JEE, NEET, CUET) through merit, and remove the financial barrier standing between them and that opportunity.

This is Learn. Earn. Return –  an ecosystem where those who benefited from opportunity now fund it forward. You can read about the many ways to give on this page, or visit our Donation form to make a one-time or monthly contribution online.

Popular Ways To Give

Choose how you would like to gift

Online Donation (Card / Debit / Credit)

Your gift helps deserving students pursue higher education and achieve their professional goals without being held back by financial constraints.

Bank Transfer/Automated Clearing House (ACH)

Give directly from your US bank account. ACH transfers typically carry lower processing fees than card payments, meaning more of your gift goes directly to students.

Check by Mail

Prefer a traditional approach? Mail a check payable to Shiksha Sankalp Society to our mailing address:

Employer Matching Gifts

Oftentimes, when an employee donates to a non-profit organization their employers - especially in tech and finance - match employee donations dollar-for-dollar, or more. Check with your HR department to double or triple your impact at no additional cost to you.

Gifts in Honor or Memory

Celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or honor the memory of a loved one with a tribute gift. We're happy to send a personalized acknowledgment card to the honoree or their family.

Planned Giving & Bequests

Include Shiksha Sankalp Society in your will, trust, or estate plan to create a lasting legacy that continues to open doors for deserving students long into the future.

Monthly Recurring Giving

What your donation can support

When you support a Lakshya Scholar, you’re doing more than funding tuition or hostel fees; you’re giving a student the stability to focus on learning, growing, and preparing for a meaningful  future.

We are supporting students across India, from rural villages to urban centres, from different cultures and communities, pursuing degrees in a range of reputable universities. Each student’s journey is unique, but all share one thing in common: potential that can flourish with the right guidance and resources.

Here is how your contribution can make a meaningful difference in the life of a deserving scholar:

• $700: Supports one scholar’s college education for a year

• $2800: Supports an Engineering/Medical scholar through four years of education

• $3500: Supports
Ten Non-STEM scholars college education for a year

All contributions are utilized to award scholarships to deserving Lakshya scholars.

Gifting appreciated stock held for more than a year is a simple and powerful way to support the Shiksha Sankalp Lakshya Scholarships that fund college education of economically constrained students in India. It also offers you a number of financial benefits:

- You can easily donate appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual funds
- The total value of the stock upon transfer is tax-deductible
- There is no obligation to pay any capital gains taxes on the appreciation

Note: Individual situations vary so donors should consult their advisors.

Please contact us at Support@resolve4education.org if you are considering this option. We shall be happy to assist.

IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)

Donors aged 70½ or older can direct a Qualified Charitable Distribution from a traditional IRA straight to Shiksha Sankalp Society. A QCD counts toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) and is excluded from taxable income - a powerful option even if you no longer itemize deductions. (Consult your tax advisor for details specific to your situation.)

Here's how a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) works:

- You must be 70-1/2 or older at the time of gifting your IRA to charity.
- You may distribute an amount, up to $111,000 in a calendar year, to one or more public charities, so long as it is completed by December 31 of that year.
- Your IRA administrator must make the distribution directly to the charity, or you may write a check to the charity from your IRA checkbook. Funds that are withdrawn by you and then contributed do not qualify.

Here are the steps to take to make a gift from your IRA:

- Contact your IRA administrator and instruct that person to transfer funds to the charity you designate.
- Help us credit your gift and thank you by having your IRA administrator include your full name and mailing address on the gift. Also, have your administrator note that the transfer is an IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution.

If you'd like to make a QCD gift, your financial institution should make the check out to "Shiksha Sankalp Society" and identify you as the donor by name and address.

They can mail the check to:
Shiksha Sankalp Society 100 Professional View Drive, Suite 116, Freehold, New Jersey 07728, USA.
