Strengthening Pathways for Underserved Students: A Collaborative Step Forward

At Shiksha Sankalp Society (SSS), our mission has always been clear, to identify, support, and empower bright students from underserved backgrounds so they can access opportunities that truly reflect their potential.

In this journey, meaningful collaborations play a crucial role.

Recently, our founder, Mr. Harish Nagpal, had the privilege of meeting Mr. K.S Upadhyay, Additional Director of Education/ CEO Delhi Board of School Education. The interaction was both insightful and encouraging, centered around the progressive reforms being envisioned for government schools in India and how nonprofit organizations like SSS can actively contribute to this transformation.

The discussion highlighted a shared commitment, ensuring that talent is not limited by circumstance. With the Government of India placing increasing emphasis on improving the quality and reach of education in government schools, there is a strong opportunity for partnerships that bridge gaps beyond the classroom. Shiksha Sankalp Society, with its focused scholarship and mentorship initiatives, looks forward to contributing to these efforts by supporting students through their transition into higher education.

We are especially grateful for the consistent support from the Delhi Board of School Education in helping us identify truly deserving students. Mr. Rakesh Kumar and Ms.Pooja Gupta from the Directorate of Education, Delhi, have been instrumental in this process. Their commitment on the ground, recognizing high potential students and connecting them with Shiksha Sankalp Society, has enabled us to reach those who might otherwise remain unseen.

Through this collaboration, we are now proud to extend scholarships to exceptionally bright students from government schools, enabling them to pursue higher education at reputed institutions across India. These are students with the drive to excel, and with the right support, they can go on to create meaningful change in their communities and beyond.

This partnership is more than a moment, it is a step toward building a stronger, more inclusive education ecosystem where government institutions and nonprofits work hand in hand. Together, we can ensure that opportunity reaches every deserving student, not just a few.

At SSS, we remain committed to this vision, and we look forward to deepening such collaborations that turn potential into progress.
